Panelists:
Amy Loutfi is a Professor at Örebro University and Linköping University, where she leads the AI, Robotics, and Cybersecurity Center and is program director for the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program. Her research spans artificial intelligence, robotics and human-robot interaction. She has long-standing collaborations with industry and the public sector, and is active in shaping Sweden’s AI strategy. In 2020, she was elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
Karim Nouira is a Swedish entrepreneur, mathematician, jazz pianist, and CEO of SICS.AI, a company developing advanced AI technologies for industrial automation. He co-founded JRockit, a Java Virtual Machine later acquired by Oracle and used on 20 million servers worldwide. With a background in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Karim now leads SICS.AI, which won the 2024 Guldhanden award for “Automation Innovation of the Year.” A sought-after speaker, he inspires audiences with thought-provoking talks on AI, AGI, and industrial applications.

Katja de Vries is an Associate Professor in Public Law at Uppsala University and affiliated with the Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute in Stockholm. Her research explores the legal challenges posed by AI-generated content, particularly in relation to data protection, intellectual property, and emerging regulatory frameworks. She is Principal Investigator of the interdisciplinary research environment VOICE. AI-created voices: legal and societal perspectives(2025–2030), funded by the Swedish Research Council, where she examines how synthetic voices impact law, policy, and society.
Johan Fredrikzon is a Historian of Ideas with a background in Computer Science, currently at KTH. He recently completed a three-year fellowship at UC Berkeley and Stanford University. His research traces the history of artificial intelligence through the lens of error, exploring how notions of failure, deviance, and breakdown have shaped AI cultures since the 1950s. He has published and taught on themes including erasure, authorship, and death, and is under contract with Fri Tanke to write a book on the ideas driving AI projects.
Michael Natschke is Senior Director of Business Development at Xylem, where he drives strategic initiatives in digital transformation, climate resilience, and sustainable water innovation. With over 25 years of experience, he has led market development, growth strategies, and strategic partnerships that deliver measurable impact. Michael collaborates with utilities, technology partners, and C-level stakeholders to scale digital platforms that integrate real-time data, AI, and predictive insights, transforming water management in Europe. He is recognized for building high-performing teams and aligning commercial execution with strategic vision.
